Antico Molino Rosso is located in Buttapietra, in the province of Verona, in the Po Valley and dates back to the 16th century. The entire family unit worked and produced in the family business, first with grandfather Armando, then with father Remo, and now with his son Gaetano. In the Molino Rosso there is a paddle wheel, dating back to 1858, which was once used to operate the entire plant and still works. Antico Molino Rosso has always been a stone mill: this process maintains the characteristics of the product unaltered, preserving as much as possible in the flour all the important nutritional qualities of the grain.
